The Private Apartment, located in the historic heart of Kutno in central Poland, embodies the client’s vision for an elegant, contemporary sanctuary. Tasked with converting a compact studio into a refined 1-bedroom retreat, ARTES London orchestrated a seamless blend of functional design and sophisticated aesthetics. The brief demanded not only a spatial transformation but also a harmonious fusion of contrasting materials and warm finishes, tailored for modern, luxe living.

Guided by principles of sustainable architecture and thoughtful innovation, the reimagined layout introduces an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The space flows effortlessly onto a south-facing terrace, maximizing daylight and city views through a new full-height glazed sliding window. Whitewashed timber sliding pocket doors and pristine white walls create a versatile, gallery-like backdrop for curated biophilic interiors and bespoke furnishings.

INTERIOR + FIT-OUT DESIGN
The interior design elevates everyday living with luxe materials and bespoke craftsmanship. The entrance lobby, reconfigured for optimal flow, leads to an industrial-chic bathroom adorned with mid-grey concrete-effect tiles and polished chrome fixtures. The high-ceilinged bedroom offers direct access to a private balcony, with a fully fitted wardrobe ensuring tailored storage solutions.
