Set within the prestigious Royal Arsenal Riverside development, this project began with a blank canvas: an untouched, newly completed apartment by Berkeley Group.
Our client, a discerning professional seeking a sanctuary for both refined living and productive remote work, appointed ARTES London with transforming the space into a bespoke, sophisticated home.
The brief called for a seamless blend of comfort, style, and functionality, maximising river views, natural light, and privacy. The design needed to support a contemporary lifestyle, including flexible spaces for working from home, entertaining, and relaxation, all within a setting that exudes understated luxury and individuality.

The One Where the Thames Is Your Canvas
ARCHITECTURE
While the apartment’s core architecture was delivered by Berkeley Group, ARTES London was entrusted with elevating its spatial experience. The flat boasts a prime, corner position with panoramic Thames views and abundant daylight in every room, none overlooked by neighbouring buildings.
Our design approach embraced these architectural strengths, curating a harmonious flow between spaces and framing the river as a central feature.

Through carefully selected fitted and freestanding elements, we accentuated the apartment’s openness and exclusivity, ensuring each room feels private, luminous, and deeply connected to its riverside setting.

Interior + Fitout Design
Approaching the apartment as a white canvas, ARTES London meticulously developed a bespoke interior and fit-out scheme. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area was reimagined for both elegant entertaining and everyday comfort, with seamless access to the private terrace. The master suite and guest bedrooms were tailored for restorative sleep, flexible use, and moments of retreat.
Our design integrates custom joinery, statement lighting, and tactile materials,layering textures and tones inspired by the Thames.
Every detail, from workspace nooks to curated furnishings, was chosen to support a modern lifestyle that balances working from home, family life, and personal wellbeing.

Sustainability + Environmental Design
Sustainability is woven into every stage of our fit-out and dressing works. ARTES London specified breathable, low-VOC materials, FSC-certified timbers, natural paints, and organic textiles, to promote healthy indoor air and occupant wellness. Energy-efficient lighting, appliances, and smart controls are seamlessly integrated for minimal environmental impact.
Our approach not only aligns with Royal Arsenal Riverside’s broader environmental vision, but elevates it by tailoring sustainable solutions to the client’s unique needs. The result is a home that feels luxurious, responsible, and future-ready.
